I wasn’t aware of the some of the personal problems you’ve had in the past, so your achievements are all the more impressive because of the massive hurdles you’ve overcome.

Having identified with your story so closely, I need your coaching. Although my details are quite different, I have let some very huge personal “mountains” derail me about 5 or 6 times. When this happens and you start again, you are always about 3 steps behind. I have a strong understanding of basics and an overwhelming desire to help others through teaching. My goal would be to develop a Learn the Basics course to get new marketers on the right track. After reading Every Newbie’s Dream (by Kerry Russell – look for it), I would like to get on that horse again and dedicate my efforts to your program. You have reminded me of important principles.

What a terrific report, and all the glamour within it! LOL
I thank you for being upfront and bold enough to lay out what anyone trying to work online needs to understand. It IS simple to make money online, but you do need a business and a plan. Just to say “I want to make money online” won’t cut it, and I believe that’s where so many have got the sour taste this year with all the hypsters hustling the junk (glad to see the CB and FTC crack downs…)
At any rate, anyone will be truly fortunate to work with you. So I wish you the best in your selections.
Do I cast myself in for a chance? I’ve been building a little here and there online, but do need to ramp it up, and through some similar struggles to you (and a few NOT so similar), I am confident that 2012 will be the year I get over the proverbial hump. Perhaps your direction would be a blessing.

Where should I start from….
There are so many coincidences are there and i am related to your life in so many ways….
even i started my online journey in may 2010 only but still struggling to find the success path…
I believe in the mindset concept as well…
It’s ‘YOU’ that matters most when it comes to wealth,not the system you follow or business you start.It’s ‘YOU’ only.
Even I am unemployee right now and struggling for my living…This is my strong desire to change my fate and live my online dream a reality.So i can be a good student to you as well…
I am also suffering from shiny object syndrome and information overload problems…
My mother ,father,brother and all my relatives are discouraging me for doing this Internet thing …that is a big negativity for me but still managing and trying to ignore their words and still working hard to make some money online…may be the determination is working that’s why i am unable to leave this internet thing….
In fact after a lot of struggles i understood the magic of “Taking Action” and focusing on one thing at a time are really important for success…
Even I started to take action recently this september only with the giveaway events and got 20 subscribers as well BUT The Mistake I did is I used the free autoresponder which is not able to send the broadcast messages and some follow up messages that i send are going to spam folders and thus loosing all my efforts…So I decided to start with Aweber and bought just this november only…
Now I am Planning to start with giveaways again and your giveaway masterclass is also really helping me to understand the concept…Thank you for that ….
Being unemployee i am unable to afford much money but still i am borrowing the credit card from my mom and using her card and bought the domain and hosting and aweber…I cannot afford 1000′s of dollars as well but can afford little money and more time to succeed in this online war.
I too have been distracted with many emails and false promises and lost money but still searching for the right person to mentor me..
Success with association is really a very good point that i totally
agree with you ..But what is my problem is i don’t know how to associate with successful marketers …basically i am not that active and reserved kind of mentality …but To success in this Online world I have to learn networking with everyone so trying my best and just starting my baby steps to success…So If you could help me in my journey to give some acceleration so that i can reach my goal little faster than i could when alone…that will really increase my confidence..Hoping for the best ….and Best of Luck for your 2012 endeavors …

Thank you for your heartfelt ebook. I’m somewhere on the path you describe but not sure where. I do know at this point with the help of an appropriate mentor, the traffic block I am now working my way through will at least be less lonely and at best overcome what I perceive to be the next BIG opportunity to realize something more from the investment I’ve made so far.
Why I want this more than anything else is because right now…
1. It’s hard to describe how much I would appreciate a mentor.
2. Traffic appears as the single largest barrier to move forward.
3. Although I have tried PLR, created a few of my own products, built websites to promote them, and have tried out a number of different sales funnels with some small measure of success, I simply have not had any credible human feedback on what I have done or what is needed to perfect it.
4. I believe I am ready to really make something special out of your kind offer.
Kerry, you appear to me as a testament of the kind of hope and determination many people can could benefit from, marketers or not. Kudos and keep up the good work.

Why I want you to be my personal mentor, that’s a terrible way to start. You should find the most likely to actually follow direction, and then help them help themselves. It’s funny, your book came out at the same time, I had come to the conclusion, I NEED HELP. I’m not yet an I.M. as I don’t believe anyone has bought anything I’ve offered.
I am presently working on an e-book I can offer up to the Richard Darby’s Birthday giveaway, and we’ll see if I can pull something outta my hat. I am new to all of this. Marketing internet, computers, using the social networks, etc.
I’ve just recently crawled out of the woods of N. Idaho, where I lived off the grid.
Had I enough time for a product, I’d like to do the “Caveman Tech manual for when the lights go out”. Sorry for the long windedness. You did great too, also as well. take care.

first of all thanks for sharing a GREAT report and finding the courage to tell your personal story, what a journey you have had!
While I was reading your report I could relate to a lot of it, I have been trying to get started for a couple of years now after we moved from the UK to live on the Greek island of Crete, I have made a few $’s here and there but not on a regular basis, I have got shed loads of stuff on my hard drive that I have downloaded to try and help but like you say I have just ended up paying out more money and have a bad case of information overload!
I really think I can learn a lot from you so would love the chance for you to become my mentor to give me a kick up the but and stop wasting my days away in a confused state! and get into a routine and start to make a constant income coming in, I don’t mind hard work at all I just need some focus and direction and I thanks god to have found you.
I have made the first move and have joined a few giveaways and hopefully that will help me build a list.

I have purchased many WSO’s, mentoring packages and so forth and so on. I always seem to get to a certain point and get stuck. Then I get sidetracked and by the time I get my issue resolved I have moved on to something else. I have shiny object syndrome for sure…but I am much more careful now not to buy something that looks to good to be true … I get bombarded everyday with “check this out” emails and get on list after list – then take myself off list after list because I know it is just another someone trying to sell me something. It is so frustrating. I just want to get something to work so I can make a little money … I am in the middle of moving so that doesn’t help much time wise and another distraction.

Internet marketing is my passion, my life, and my future. My future and my families future relies on my online success. I will NEVER give up! I made a previous post which outlines my situation in a little more detail. I decided to read through your e-book again because this has really been on my mind since I first discovered it. I noticed that your instructions included to start my post with, “Kerry I want you to help me and be my personal mentor because…”. So, since I wish to be considered for your coaching program, I though it would be a good idea to show you that, at the very least, I can follow instructions and do not just go out and do my own thing based on what I think I know. Too many people will take instruction from someone who has been successful and then change it a bit because they thing they know better. To be honest, if I knew any better than anyone who has been successful online, I would not be in the situation that I am in.
I feel that I have a decent amount of knowledge as far as internet marketing is concerned. After all, I could not have spent all of this time learning and researching it without learning something, right? Obviously, what I need at this point is someone who I can rely on to be there to guide me through the process of putting all the information together and learning some new info to truly put it all together. I am ready for the next step!
The only reason I have not gotten a coach yet is the fact that I am dead broke and, according to the state of Idaho, homeless. Luckily I am involved in a public assistance program who is paying for me to live in a very small house with my wife and kids until the end of December.
Saying that, my goal… My need… is to make enough money to be able to at least rent a place for my family to stay… everything I am doing is fueled by my families need to not have to worry about being thrown out on the streets. I don’t even have a car, which means that if my time here has ended, we won’t even have a car to sleep in at the very least. Don’t get me wrong, I do not wish to get to that point.
So, I stand here before you stating simply that I WILL BE SUCCESSFUL! I hope that you will chose to help me be successful and to help me find my light at the end of the tunnel! I eat, sleep, and breathe internet marketing…. I love it! I know that there is HUGE potential online and I wish to find my place.
Once I find my place and build financial stability for my family, my next goal is to help others in situations similar to my own. I want nothing more than to help families with children stay off the streets and to be able to have some financial stability in their lives.
I know I repeated myself a little from my last post, I just felt the desire to post one more time and forward my desire, drive, and ability to be successful as an internet marketer. I feel that I would be a worthy investment of your time and possibly a future partner online.

Hey Kerry, I just finished your book. I read it start to finish immediately after downloading it because I knew that if I put it off, I wouldn’t read it. I almost fell asleep several times because it is late and I have had a very long day, but I was dedicated to finish it tonight.
I’ll publicly expose a few personal details about myself here….I was a single father after my ex wife decided drugs were more important than her family. I was looking into internet marketing at that point in 2008. I bought some products, got caught up in a ponzi scheme or tow and lost a good amount of money. I was working my butt off in a production plant working 70+ hrs per week to support myself and my son and pay off all the lawyers fees accumulated during my custody battle that lasted a year and a half.
I am remarried now and have a 1 yr old daughter. I lost my job and decided to start looking into internet marketing again in February, 2010. I didn’t have any money to spend at this point and was relying on public assistance for the first time in my life. I was behind on rent and was quickly getting behind on other bills too. I learned everything I could based on free info I could find.I blogged, and wrote articles. I finally make $81 on clickbank by selling 3 affiliate products on a squidoo lens that I had worked for 6 months on. This was in June 2011.
I was pretty excited. This made me truly believe that I could do this. By the way, I had already got evicted from the place I was living in when I started and had talked a private renter into trusting me enough to rent out to me even though I had no job. Anyway, I got a tax return that allowed me to pay 3 months rent up and I felt good about excelling in my business.
Not too long after I made my sales, I found that my squidoo lenses got removed because they promoted a get you ex back product and they banned that topic because it was notorious for spam. I took a month or so off because I did not really know what to do next. Bills were piling up, so I decided to start a blogger blog with the same content and pointed my backlinks from my articles to that site. No sales, a little traffic…. never started a list, but I am trying….
I have recently been in touch with 3 different coaches who are very successful and who charge about $1,500 for their coaching program. I realize the value of a mentor which why I have been pursuing it for the past couple of months. But, simply can’t afford it. BTW this last September, I got far enough behind on rent that my family and I were evicted, had to live in my father in laws house (sleeping on the couches and floors) for a month before getting into a charity housing program that is to only last 3 months before we are let to go on the streets unless I figure something out quick.
I spend all my time online that I can. My wife is pregnant and due in one month. I have no car, it is 10 degrees outside right now and my daughter has had a 103 degree fever for the past 2 days now. My life is stressful. I applied for literally over 100 jobs in the past 2 months. I got lucky and found a sales job cold calling and selling to people I don;t know. I hate cold calling, I suck at selling like this and I am nervous on the phones, but I do it because it is the only income I have. I just ended my first week and had to walk 2 miles in the snow to get to work. While at the same time having to leave my sick daughter and pregnant wife stranded at home while I am gone. My only hope is to save enough money at this job to make the $1,500 for coaching because that is what I need.
I have started building a Word Press site a few weeks ago ad that is the project I am currently working on when I stumbled on your book. I am going to keep working on this blog in hopes that I accidentally get lucky and do something right. I really would LOVE and GREATLY APPRECIATE the opportunity to take part in your free coaching program…..
The coaching opportunity you described would be a DREAM COME TRUE and change the lives of myself, my wife, my 6 year old son, my 1 year old daughter, and my son to be born in a month and save us from homelessness. I am DESPERATE at this point. I do not know what I will do if I cannot make enough money upon leaving here in a month and a half to get another place. I can’t live on the streets in the winter with my family….
My father in law may take my children in, but I had to fight his wife to let us stay the month we did, and now she has her kids living there, so I may not be so lucky… He’ll take the kids because he won’t let them be out on the streets. My wife and I may end up living under a bridge…. I do not expect something for nothing…. I am willing to invest in my families future, I just wish I had realized it when I first started instead of throwing my money away to false promises…. I am willing to put 1000% effort into my business. Unfortunately I am at the point where I need guidance to know exactly where to focus my efforts.
I will gladly not sleep for the next couple months if it means supporting my family. I am a high school graduate, I did ok in school, my upbringing was decent. I just made some choices and had some things happen in my life that led up to me being in a very desperate and needy situation.
I have seen a part of society that I really never got to see before. There are a ton of people and families who are desperate for help because our economy is poor and jobs are hard to find.
MY GOAL… MY PASSION IS THIS…….
I want to make enough money to support my family and give them what they need… yes I said need and not want. I am not greedy and I do not wish to raise my kids to be greedy or ungrateful for what they have. After my family has what they need, I want to help those around me who are in need. Families are my #1 concern. I will donate my money to shelters and housing programs for families with children who are in a similar situation as me to help them get back on their feet so they will not have to face homelessness.
If I can get to the point where I know enough to teach my marketing skills, I will personally sit down and teach those in shelters I endorse how to do what I do so that they too can make a living online. I have a passion to help others, but before I can help others I need to help myself out of the hole I am in right now.

Brilliant ebook, and your honesty shines through. I really need your help to get on as an Internet Marketer. I have been trying for a couple of years now, doing the same as most people, and believing the ‘Instant Wealth’ products we are still seeing will get me the fancy car and mansion. (Those peddlers of such products should be ashamed of themselves, but they have no shame). I have tried the article marketing, I now hate article spinners – another way for unscrupulous marketers to fleece the unwary. Now I have seen the light, and set up a blog, and have started to connect with honest genuine marketers whose advice is invaluable. I have also begun building a list through Giveaways, slow and steady at the moment, and just need that extra knowledge for the next steps, not to become a millionaire, but to be able to hold my head up and know I am making an honest living, be able to give my family those little extras, and ensure their future is secure, and ultimately, to be able to pass that knowledge along to someone else who has also been led down the wrong path,

Kerry I want you to help me and be my personal coach because I have been working in the IM industry for just over a year now and I’m still struggling. I’ve realised that you just can’t do this on your own. Now I’m not lazy, I’ve devoted at least 3 possibly more hours a day and THOUSANDS of dollars into trying to succeed online. Like many others, I’ve maxed out my credit cards. Yes, I’ve been burned by a lot of rubbish systems out there. I still use a few systems, following them to the letter, but for some reason, it’s just not been working for me.
I have come to realise now that I need a personal mentor, someone that will be able to show me exactly what I’m doing wrong. Unfortunately, I just haven’t got the money to spend on getting a personal coach. (If I know then what I know now, I would’ve just maxed out my credit cards on getting a good coach to show me the ropes.
By reading all your comments, it looks like you’ve got a really tough job on your hands. I surely don’t envy you.
I would just like to finish off by saying reading Every Newbies Dream, you’ve given me hope, I’ve had a lot of family and friends who’ve said some rather nasty and negative comments to me saying I’m a dreamer and it’ll never happen. But I’m as determined as ever to make 2012 the year for me. I have my fingers crossed that it’s my name you pull out of the hat.
Thanks for the inspiration, you’re definitely one of the good ones in IM. Even if I don’t win, I’ll be keeping my eye out for your e-mails. Thanks again. Glen.

Wow Kerry…Loved this report. I know it is way past the time to wi the Free Mentoring…that is OK because I feel like I have already won. I have been receiving emails from you for quite some time and received one today on your recent update…Plans for 2012 and of course I scrolled down and this post caught my attention. I proceeded to download your report and my first thought was I read this later…it looks pretty good and to my surprise…I could not stop reading. Once I downloaded it…I began to skim over it a little and then before I knew it…I read the whole thing. I think that was a first for me. I do have a folder on my computer packed with reports I have never opened. I want you to know that what your wrote inspired me and educated me. I was touched by your story, your perseverance and your results.
I have had my own struggles, like so many of us do, but I have to choose each day to make this day a successful day…sometimes I do…and sometimes I fail miserably.
I got a “Ah hah” moment when you talked about finding a mentor. This was the piece I was missing. I actually have a folder on my bookmark bar that says…My Mentors…but they all were not true mentors…sure I read their blogs when I had time…read their books, even bought some of their reports(that in are in my folder)bought some of their products…but I never communicated with them personally…never asked them to mentor/coach me…but most important I never gave them a reason as to why they would want to and guarantee them that they would not be wasting their time. So I just discovered my goal #1…Find me a Mentor for 2012.
My #2 goal for 2012 is to learn how to host a giveaway. Whatever it takes…I will host my first giveaway by or before June 2012.
There is so much more that I was able to take away from your report and I thank you for making it available to us.
By the way you are in my mentor folder and I my goal is to move you over to another folder…Best Friends!
